The JackPot is our luxury 10×16 shack that fishes (6) and has (6) beds- (2) larger beds and (2) smaller beds in the loft, then (2) bench’s that convert to beds on the bottom level. The JackPot is fully solar sufficient and runs off a temperature-controlled propane furnace and diesel heater to keep you warm and cozy.

Complete with (2) 42” TVs on the wall to catch the game or watch a movie while you amplify the screen on our underwater camera to watch all the action live! The JackPot has (6) rods, an assortment of lures and bait to help you track down the monsters lurking under the ice!

There is a heated washroom facility right by the shack and let’s not forgot about the wood-fired cedar sauna. Make sure to enjoy a hot chocolate or have a warm drink around our custom outdoor fire pits! For the ultimate fishing and relaxing experience, the JackPot is all you need for fishing solo, with a buddy, or up to (6) friends!

Overview

Follow the map that will be provided in your “Booking Confirmation Package” from the Mulhurst Bay boat launch.

We do our best to keep the snow cleared and the pathways smooth. Alot of our customers arrive in cars, weather depending, it is a good idea if you are bringing a car or small vehicle to check with management prior to arrival to determine the quality of the ice roads and access points.

Not comfortable driving your vehicle on the ice? Ask about our additional shuttle service!

Safety is our main priority

  1. Release of Liability Waiver must be completed for all persons entering the shacks.
  2. Damage deposits are due at the time of booking and are non-refundable within 14 days of booking date.
  3. To ensure the health and well-being of all our guests, and the safety of others in the area, we kindly ask you to leave your pets at home. Failure to adhere to this rule will result in forfeiture of the damage deposit.
  4. No smoking, vaping or cannabis use allowed in the shacks, sauna, or outhouse. Failure to adhere to this rule will result in forfeiture of the damage deposit.
  5. No alcoholic beverages are to be consumed outside the shacks at anytime.
  6. Always be cautious of open ice holes in and around the area.
  7. Please watch your footing on the ice and use 3 points of contact while entering and exiting the shacks, sauna, and outhouse.
  8. When using the hot plate, keep flammable materials at a distance and use caution to avoid injury from the hot surface. Please open the window 2-3” to allow airflow while using the hot plate.
  9. A fire extinguisher and first aid kit have been provided and are located inside the shack.
  10. Please DO NOT touch, alter or tamper with the solar panels, batteries, controllers, breakers, inverters or any part of the solar set up.
  11. Please DO NOT alter or tamper with the heating system and DO NOT remove the propane tank from the heating system at anytime.
  12. All Provincial and Federal rules must be adhered to at all times.
  13. Please do not eat or drink on the beds. The cost of stain removal will be taken off the damage deposit.
  14. Please use the black tote for putting fish in as they come out of the hole to reduce the water and slime on the floors.
  15. Please clean as you go and dispose of garbage in appropriate waste bins. Full garbage bags are to be placed outside in the black bin for disposal.
  16. Please use the catch cover screens as must as possible. We are not responsible for anything that is lost down the holes.
  17. You are responsible to ensure that nothing in the shack gets lost down the holes.
  18. We are not held liable for any injury, illness, or incident that occurs during your stay
  19. Use at your own risk.
  20. As this is a public area, please be respectful and mindful to others sharing the same space.
