Welcome to Battle River Reelers, home to premium ice fishing experiences on Dried Meat Lake. Our fully-equipped ice shacks blend comfort with adventure, offering modern amenities that transform traditional ice fishing into an unforgettable winter getaway.
What began as a vision to revitalize a lakefront property, now operating as The Revival Resort has expanded into The Battle River Reelers Ice Shack Rentals, a sanctuary where nature and comfort converge. As neighbors to this stunning waterfront location, we saw more than just a renovation project – we saw an opportunity to create something special year round.
Our journey expanded with the addition of our ice fishing experiences, fulfilling our dream of providing unique, comfortable winter adventures on the lake. Dallas has been an avid fisherman his whole life. Growing up in Northern Alberta Dallas would often head to several lakes to explore the fishing opportunities. It was a lifelong dream of his to run a fishing business. Dallas started Battle River Reelers with his step son Joren and they do tournament fishing in and around Alberta. They host the Battle River Reelers Ice Classic every year on the last weekend of January.
Our vision for our rental experiences is to cater to all kinds of needs. We love nature and love giving people the opportunity to do things they have never experienced. So weather you are an experienced avid angler looking to enjoy some time on the lake, someone looking for your first ice fishing experience, looking to just get away from the busy city life to experience nature and peace and quiet or looking to calmly unwind with a group of friends, we got you!
Dallas and Jaylene live on the lake and also operate the Revival Resort that they fully renovated and turned into a vacation rental business. From this expanded the Battle River Reelers Ice Shack Rentals. Dallas and Jaylene are always coming up with innovative ideas to offer this amazing lake lifestyle to their guests. They go above and beyond all the time and you will not be disappointed in any of their accommodations.

The Jack Hammer is our luxury 10×12 shack that fishes 4 and has 3 beds- 2 larger beds and 1 smaller bed. Sleeps 3 singles or up to 5 with 2 couples or younger kids who share a bed! The Jack Hammer is fully solar sufficient and runs off a temperature controlled propane furnace to keep you warm and cozy.
The JackPot is our luxury 10×16 shack that fishes 6 and has 6 beds- 2 larger beds and 2 smaller beds in the loft and 2 beds on the bottom. The JackPot is fully solar sufficient and runs off a temperature controlled propane furnace to keep you warm and cozy.
